IBM’s U.S. Retail Index reports the pandemic accelerated the shift away from physical stores to digital shopping by roughly five years. In APAC, McKinsey is predicted an average of 67% of shoppers will continue those habits. (McKinsey & Company, COVID-19, Global report July 2020). The future of commerce belongs to brands and creators who bring shopping and content closer together in a way that is seamless, engaging, and very entertaining. Interactive experiences, like Live Streaming and shoppable video are the third highest purchase motivators.
