Favicons

Note: Verizon Media is now known as Yahoo.

A favicon is graphical image (usually the logo) that is displayed to highlight the ad for branded or navigational queries. Favicons benefit users, advertisers and publishers because they are very targeted and only triggering when it's most helpful. Plus, advertisers receive more targeted traffic and control over their brand identity. A blue globe will display as a placeholder if the advertiser does not have a Favicon.

Results: Some partners have seen an estimated lift of +8-10% CTR. Results may vary.

Markets: NAR (US, CA), EMEA (UK, IE, FR, DE, IT, ES, AT, CH, NO, SE, DK, FI, NL), LATAM (BR, MX, AR, CO, CL, PE, VE), APAC (IN, SG, ID, MY, PH, TH, VN, TW, HK)

Parameter: "&enableFavicon=1" (case sensitive) for all ads or "&enableFavicon=2" for branded queries only (recommended).
